Well done on the clear shot inside Justinian’s church, Rossco. Methinks that if there was a similar transfer today the mosaics would be defaced and probably the whole building destroyed. Heard earlier that Cardigan was quoted as saying, “I am almost out of patients” – hope he said “patience”. Don’t you get it? The baker is tamping on the dough! We would say ‘kneading’, I guess, but ‘tamp on’ is Saxon and fell into disuse (or misuse) after the Norman invasion.
Plus: “Chaplilling” is what hairdressers such as Bruno do – I think it’s removing hairs from ear lobes and their environs. Go, Linda! Is the end nigh with that final chapter? And warmest regards to Mitch and Maryanne on their arrival. Hey, that plastic bottle mask is a ripper. Must go, not much left of our monarch’s birthday (better let her go!).
